Carter is a Virginia native who received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in both Graphic Design and Painting/ Drawing from Anderson University in South Carolina.
She enjoys working in different mediums that include oils, watercolor, pen and graphite. Her illustrations capture the delights and ironies of everyday life, and her endearing characters inhabit a whimsically recognizable world. Her joy is in making people smile through shared stories and memories.
